Poem about Farewell: "Our Sweet Goodbyes"

Photo by Elijah O'Donell on Unsplash

Back when I was a child
Sweet, young and mild.
You're always there for us;
Pampering until we close eyes.

A light in the shadow,
Strength in times of low.
Your words are never shallow;
Wisdom of life you bestow.

Your lavish love for family;
Radiant glow continuously.
Your memoir that's so godly
We'll keep with thanks and cheery.

Let this be an entreaty
That you'll find peace and jolly.
Forever you'll be remembered
By every heart you cherished.

This isn't a farewell, ain't goodbye
My sweet loving granny.
Up above together our family,
Will meet again, in God's time someday.
