Inside Out

Outside.
I'm smiling.
Living like it's totally fine.
Getting things done correctly;
Letting people see the smirk on my lips,
Just to let them think I'm happy.

Inside.
I'm bleeding,
Suffocated by distress;
Sick and tired of the world.
Exhausted at work, no time for relaxation.
Battling inside in a morbid realm.

Inside out.
Soul and body are at war;
Tryin' to set equilibrium.
The mind is a battleground.
Confused, tormented and broken.
Swallowed by my own morbidity.
