Love Poem: Inked Heart

They told me I have a heart of stone
Apathetic and indifferent to others
Always thinking of the benefits I'll get
Out of them, it’s always my advantage

Some days I ignore them intently
Since they don't have use at all to me
I piss them off and criticize them
For them to hate and avoid me

Reluctant to help them when they need it
Selfish to share what the love they deserve
I'm a jerk, a fool, and a heartless guy
Still, don’t know why they love me back

As the days go by, my heart starts to soften
A bright light has radiated into my dark life
Commence to tear apart the wall that set aside
Love has engulfed my tough inked heart
